In recent years, the companies controlled by Epico have consolidated their presence in central and northern Italy. New initiatives are also evolving in regions where they are not currently active.

The investment opportunities in these new areas are selected on the basis of the level of regulation, both legally and in terms of the market for selling energy, the modernity of the electrical grid, the reliability of the other parties involved and the potential for growth.

The group is about to enter the foreign market with production plants in Serbia, where the market for small-medium sized plants offers interesting opportunities, particularly in light of the country’s bilateral agreements with Italy.

In addition, a development strategy has also been drawn up for North America, where the energy policy guidelines mapped out by the current administration make the still largely unexplored market for mini-plants particularly attractive.
