Investment Strategy

The companies controlled by Epico pursue a development programme aimed at increasing the group’s market share and total production.

This growth involves, in addition to the continuation of our long-established hydroelectric activities, a plan for diversification in terms of both renewable energy and markets/countries.

The growth strategy is pursued both through the internal development of projects and, when market conditions are favourable, through the acquisition of plants and companies in the sector. In addition, for specific projects, joint venture companies can be set up with specialist operators.

Evaluation and investment criteria are based on industrial indicators, such as the volume of electricity generated, economic indicators, such as revenue and value creation, and financial ones, such as return on investment.
