History

• 1999 Flavio and Valerio Andreoli Bonazzi start investing in the renewable sources sector and acquire a 60% holding in Hydrowatt S.p.A.
• 2002 They acquire a 60% holding in Hydrowatt Abruzzo S.p.A.
• 2004 They acquire 100% of Essepi S.p.A (now Hydrowatt Lombardia Srl)
• 2009 The holding company EPICO Srl is founded following a merger of some companies fully controlled by the Andreoli Bonazzi group,.

On 31/12/2009 the group’s companies acquired their 32nd hydroelectric plant in central and northern Italy, bringing total production to over 40 GWh/year
